Overview

Dowdens Pumping & Water Treatment have designed, installed and commissioned a solar pumping system for the SNU Grazing Company on a property in Grasstree – near Mackay.

The Problem

The customer required water pumped to 2x 10,000L holding tanks over 100 m away, and then pumped to a residential dwelling a further 85 m away, where the water is passed through a filter and used for domestic purposes around the house.

Our Solution

The Dowdens Pumping and Water Treatment solution was to use a Franklin 1.1 kW submersible pump, powered by the 195 W SUNTECH Solar Panels and controlled by a 1.1 kW solar controller and circuit breaker. To hold the water supply, Dowdens recommended two 10,000 L holding tanks.

The entire solar pump system was designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned on time and within budget.
