Bermad IR-120-55-XZ Pressure Reducing Valve with solenoid

Pressure Reducing Valve with solenoid IR-120-55-XZ

The Bermad 100 series pressure reduction valve is designed for irrigation headworks. It is switched on via an electric solenoid, and when open it regulates the downstream pressure to a constant value regardless of flow or inlet pressure. The solenoid can be AC, DC, or DC latch, which is typically mounted on the valve body.

The Shuttle Valve hydraulically the Solenoid or the Pressure Reducing Pilot to the Valve Control Chamber. When the solenoid is closed, the PRP commands the Valve to throttle closed should Downstream Pressure rise above setting and to open fully when is below setting. In response to an electrical signal, the solenoid switches, directing line pressure through the shuttle valve into the control chamber, shutting the Valve. The solenoid also features local manual closing.
