Mastermyne has a long association with Dowdens Pumping and Water Treatment and naturally reached out to Dowden’s for the supply of Wilden dewatering pumps for underground dewatering. Dowdens are the exclusive distributor for the Wilden range of air-operated double diaphragm pumps that are suitable for underground dewatering applications. This first batch is assembled into the Dowdens manufactured roll frame and painted to site specifications.

In February 2022, Mastermyne executed a Mining Services Agreement with Constellation Mining Pty Ltd to become the Contract Operator at Cook Colliery. The first package of work to prepare the mine has been completed, and the mine is now ready to recommence production.

This will involve the re-commissioning of underground infrastructure, the overhauling of mining equipment, the establishment of production panels, and administrative and procurement work, with the Wilden dewatering pumps being a part of this process.
